Built in 1922 as part of Toronto’s historic Sunnyside waterfront, it first came to life as a lakeside ballroom—filled with music, dancing, and the glow of evenings that felt almost cinematic in their beauty. Through the decades, its walls have held countless stories of joy and gathering, from the elegance of the big band era to the quiet romance of modern celebrations. Today, thoughtfully restored yet still rich with history, Palais Royale remains a place where love feels both timeless and present—an unforgettable backdrop for moments that become memories.
